RIGHT TO OPT OUT OF THE SALE OR SHARING OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) provides California consumers with the right to opt out and stop businesses from selling or sharing their personal information. This right applies to all California consumers ages 16 or older and may be exercised at any time. 

HOW TO EXERCISE THIS RIGHT 
You may exercise this right in a number of ways:

2. By contacting Liberty Tax at 1-800-790-3863 (Press option 2 followed by option 5),   
3. By sending an email to privacy@libtax.com, providing details of your request; 


PROOF REQUIRED FOR AGENTS  
You may exercise your right to opt out of the sale of personal information through an authorized agent. An authorized agent must be registered with the California Secretary of State. If a consumer uses an authorized agent to exercise these opt out rights, then we may require the customer to verify their own identity with us and acknowledge that they provided the agent with written permission to act on the consumer’s behalf.
